The numbers game

The second beta was 2804, which corresponds with a doubling time of ~37 hours. My doctor said that this is good.

Now I get to have fun with google, trying to derive some deeper meaning from the numbers. Good times, good times...

Don't mean to stop your fun and games with Mr Google but from experience numbers don't mean much. Yours seem to be doubling nicely, thats all you need to know for the moment. The rest only time will tell. Even morning sickness is personal, some get it some don't, but both give birth to healthy children anyways.

Hope its not too much assvice for you :)

Wishing you all the best for the months to come.

Kind regards

That's great news. All is doing well. I never tortured myself about the exact number of doubling, etc., because I did not want to worry about it all. I trusted my doctors. I am really happy it is where it should be.

Beta numbers can fool you. They sure got me! You've got an excellent doubling time though and strong numbers, so odds are good it's a keeper.

Looking good!

I never had a second beta (my first was 198 at 15dpo or 10dp5dt) so I never got to play the "did it double?" game.

Hoping that all is well at your ultrasound, but this is a great start!

Hey there,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi and congrats on that BFP!! I just wanted to say that your hope and inspiration post was just what I needed, I've been wondering about that and you explained it perfectly...

Don't stress about the numbers. Please. the doubling is all that matters. Okay?

Take the doubling rate as a good sign, take a deep breath and I hope you have a good ride on this long roller coaster!
