No progress

Well, I saw the doctor on Thursday, and the official cervical prognosis is "no progress whatsoever". Eggbert is still fine, healthy, and in training for a brilliant soccer career, but doesn't seem to have any interest in coming out soon. Who knew that my uterus was such a comfortable spot?

Soccer field? Comfy spot? :-D

After a day of heavy contractions yesterday I dreamt last night that the little insider will go over the expected due date. That'd be just irony. First all this hype for her NOT to come out...

I'm glad though you and Eggbert are doing fine. Hang in there. I must confess that I have started to refresh bloglines more these times in anticipation to have a birth announcement post. Very excited. Hope all goes well. HUGS.

first children are born on average at 41 weeks... Good luck with everything. Thinking of you

My first had to be induced at 42 weeks (though I think it has nothing to do with the fact that it was the first). The most annoying thing was that everyone kept telling me I'd miscalculated. Um, hullo - it was IVF...

I think babies who are born later tend to be calmer & easier.
