Bloggers remorse

Well, it's been only four hours since my last post, and I'm already drowning in guilt for complaining. I know that so many people would do just about anything to be in my situation. Heck, 40 weeks and two days ago, I would have done just about anything to be in my situation. I am thrilled to be here. Really I am. It's a dream come true. I'm just having a bad day, and my butt hurts.

nah, you didn't sound ungrateful at all, and you've got as much right to complain as anyone else. no remorse necessary.

good luck these next few days!!!!

I may never be in your situation, and confess to some envy about you being pregnant, but I really don't mind at all missing the swelling, discomfort, and bad things that come along with pregnancy. You're allowed to complain and you don't some ungrateful!

Ok try that again.

Sara - I think your hormones are being nice to you or you're controlling yourself really well. Complain on, no need to have remorse when you're pregnant (only if you knocked that college girl out, then maybe you should have a little remorse).
Come on Eggbert! Time to add your beauty to the world!

You are allowed to complain. I may know not have personal experience in the area, but I hear that third trimester pregnancy is no easy experience!

I was induced 5 days after my due date. I just could not believe I had ever made it that far. Sleep and pain are a given at this time. It is soooooo hard. The anticipation is kiling you at this point - you just want to meet the baby. Somehow part of the fantasy of being pregnant was calling the dr. in the middle of the night or having my water break. Oh no I had to go in to be induced. Sort of anticlimatic. So worth it in the end. Hang on you are almost there! There are many people thinking of you.

I think that complaining is the healthiest thing you can do at this point. That's reality... reality is that when you're past 40 weeks, it's no longer thrilling to be pregnant & you're really ready to meet your baby...

Oh, Sara - So let me get this straight: 2.5 years of TTC, months of hormonal ups and downs, fertility drugs galore, side-effects a-go-go, shooting up with hormones, one failed IVF cycle, and now you're letting a little thing like pelvic pain and backache get you down! ;-)
Really, infertiles who FINALLY manage to get (and stay) pregnant not only have to deal with that long and painful IF experience for the rest of their lives, but also with "survivor's guilt" and the feeing that they can't complain about anything, not about the aches and pains of pregnancy, not about sleep deprivation or colic or tantrums or...Well, you get the point.
I say: Live this pregnancy 100%, light and shade alike. Same thing for when Eggbert gets here. Live it all.
